The captain here did an amazing job. That is super yacht "Go", it's over 250 feet long and the engine and rudder control is all fly by wire. The captain was lining up to exit the bay via the simpson bay bridge which is only 50 cm wider than the yacht. As he was doing so there was a malfunction of the fly by wire controls. He had very little manouvering control of the vessel and as unable to stop it. He had three options. Strike the bridge, making it inoperable and causing major upheval to the nearby airport and indeed much of the island, strike the rocky shoreline which most likely would have done far more damage to the yacht and risk spilling well over 100'000 litres of fuel into the bay or run in to the relatively soft marina. There were crew on the bow warning bystanders to stay clear.

All in all, the decision he made caused the least amount of damage, cost and disruption as well as keeping people safe.

Darum hat die deutsche Ausführung auch Stahlseile und keine Gummiseile.

Bezos ist halt ein Arschloch. Nix neues. Aber man muss ihm dennoch zugute halten, dass er selbst vermutlich voller Endorphine ist, und gerade gar nicht auf dem Trichter ist, sich das Schneckentheater eines ausgedienten Seriendarstellers anzutun.

Marketing-Scheißdreck! Dieser Helium-Ballon kommt höchstens in die Mesosphäre (ca. 40-90 km - je nach Breitengrad). In der Animation sieht man die Thermosphäre, die bis etwa 700 km hoch geht. Man schafft also von dem, was die Animation zeigt, gerade einmal ca. 1/7tel der Höhe.

Das wäre ok, allerdings nur, wenn Du auch darauf hinweist, dass Rauchen in geschlossenen, öffentlichen Räumen in zumindest drei Bundesländern verboten ist.

Das ist die Weichei-Variante. Die andere mit konzentrierter Salpetersäure, die so abgeht, wie das Ding im Video, finde ich gerade nicht.

About 50 ml of concentrated (>12%)[5] hydrogen peroxide is first mixed with liquid soap or dishwashing detergent. Then, a catalyst, often around 10 ml potassium iodide solution or catalase from baker's yeast, is added to make the hydrogen peroxide decompose very quickly. Hydrogen peroxide breaks down into oxygen and water. As a small amount of hydrogen peroxide generates a large volume of oxygen, the oxygen quickly pushes out of the container.[6] The soapy water traps the oxygen, creating bubbles, and turns into foam.[6] About 5-10 drops of food colouring could also be added before the catalyst to dramatise the effect. How rapidly the reaction occurs will depend on the concentration of hydrogen peroxide used.[7]
